Our Vision is “To build a society that provides equal economic and social opportunities to all its members irrespective of caste, class, sex, age and other such divisive considerations”.
Professionals for Rural Enterprise, Restructure and Advancement with New Approaches (PRERANA) is a group of vibrant youths determined to wipe backwardness off the society, by gearing up the process of social development in an integrated manner. It is a secular and non-political not for profit organization, registered under the Societies Act 1860.
Set up in the year 1999, genesis of PRERANA can be traced back to the increasing awareness and consequent faith of its founders in voluntary action as they completed their formal education. With an urge to do something for the underprivileged, they decided to start their journey imbued with a spirit of voluntarism.
PRERANA is focused on undertaking and supporting professional initiatives to find lasting solutions to the challenges faced by the society. PRERANA currently works with nearly 90,000 households and thereby directly reaching out to about 4,75,000 people across Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh states.
